Medline Complete offers content of the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s bibliographic database Medline on the EBSCOhost search platform. In addition, Medline Complete enables access to articles full-texts from +1.000 jurnals indexed in Medline. MEDLINE = the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) premier bibliographic database that contains more than 29 million references to journal articles in life sciences with a concentration on biomedicine. A distinctive feature of MEDLINE is that the records are indexed with NLM Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).
The majority of journals are selected for MEDLINE based on the recommendation of the Literature Selection Technical Review Committee (LSTRC), an NIH-chartered advisory committee of external experts.
Time coverage: MEDLINE includes literature published from 1966 to present, and selected coverage of literature prior to that period.
