Elsevier's SciVal tool is based on Scopus data and provides fast and convenient access to evaluate the science and research outputs of research institutions and their staff from around the world. SciVal offers comparisons at the level of authors, institutions and their individual parts, sources and disciplines.

To access from MU, users must register on the https://www.scival.com page: "Sign In" > "Sign in via institution".

Analyses tailored to the requirements of MU units are performed on request by the Centre for Scientometric Support and Evaluation (CSSE) at RMU, the contact person is Mgr. Michal Petr, petr@rect.muni.cz.  The report is usually preceded by a determination of the needs of the unit under analysis and a review of the input data.
