PressReader provides access to the content of selected newspapers and magazines from around the world. It contains full texts of more than 7000 titles in 60 languages from 120 countries as soon as they’re available on shelves. The archive is 3 months for most titles. e-Titles are available on the release date and are in full as their printed versions.

From the Czech Republic are included MF Dnes, Lidové noviny etc.; from the UK, there are 169 dailies (Daily Mail, The Guardian, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, etc.) and 287 magazines; from USA there are 214 dailies (The Washington Post, Los Angels Times, US Today etc.) and 235 magazines, etc.

Users can also use the appliacation for smartphones and tablets.

How to use PressReader app oustide the university network? You have to set up and run OpenVPN. Once OpenVPN is running please start up the PressReader application and you should be recognized as a user from Masaryk University and be able to read and download our subscribed content. The application will remember you for two days and then you have to run OpenVPN and connect to the app
