The Bibliography of the German Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft (BDSL) has been published since 1957. You will find information about works on German language and German literature. BDSL contains records of monographs, multi-volume works, periodicals, proceedings, articles, reviews and other documents regardless of their place of publication. Since 2004, BDSL has been available online and contains approximately 450,000 bibliographic records (since 1985).

A limited number of bibliographic records of about 15,000 from 1985-2000 are freely available.
